How to Save Money at Disneyland
A step by step guide to help you try to save money when visiting the Happiest Place on Earth
Pack your own lunch:
Be sure to pack your own food when visiting Disneyland. If you're looking to save some money on food expenses, bring your own food to the park with you. Disneyland understands that not all its visitors want to eat inside the park and for this reason, they accommodate their guests by providing pick nick tables just outside the park.
Eat your meal outside the park:
If you do decide to eat a meal at a restaurant, be sure to find a restaurant outside the Disneyland park grounds.
You will find that by eating elsewhere, you will be paying a lot less for your meal. An added benefit of not eating in the park itself, is that you have a much wider selection of different kinds of cuisine to choose from.
Come to the park prepared:
Make sure to visit the park prepared. This includes bringing with you essentials such as aspirin, jackets, hate, sunglasses, a backpack, water, and all other items that might be needed during the day. It's always best to bring these items from home, otherwise you might find yourself paying an arm and a leg for them inside the park.
Find accommodations outside the park:
If you're planning on staying overnight, it's a good idea to search for a hotel or motel that is not on the Disneyland property. Although some of the Disney-owned hotels are very nice, they are generally very expensive and limited in selection as well as availability. By staying just a few blocks away from the park you can save money and have a much larger selection of accommodations to choose from.
