This is a review for the Alto 209B (E) recorder by Aulos. The recorder is made out of a durable ABS resin and has a range of F' to G '''. Overall
I have had this recorder for about two years now and I absolutely love its sound. In my opinion the Aulos Alto 209B recorder is pretty much equal to the Yamaha YRA-28B Alto recorder. The recorder is painted black with an ivory colored trimming, and it has a beautiful and clear sound. The Aulos recorder stays in tune year round with weather and seasonal changes, which is one of the greatest perks when it comes to plastic recorders. The shape and size is great for both adults and kids alike and you should have no problems holding the instrument. If you are a beginner your fingers may not be used to vertically stretching down so far but you will get used to it in time.
I mentioned in my Yamaha YRA-28B review that the recorder sometimes gets stuck and that it was hard to unscrew, but I can't remember a time where that has happened with the Aulos recorder. As long as you keep the recorder lubricated it unscrews and comes apart without any problems which makes cleaning it a breeze. The protective bag that came with the recorder is durable and hasn't torn up on me yet. It really is a great set.
Overall I will give this recorder a 9 out of 10 for its great durability and sound quality. For about $25 you will be getting an amazing recorder. I highly recommend it.
