How to Plan a Kids Football Party
If you are thinking about planning a kids football party, there are several ways to make it fun and stress free.
The first things you have to do is create the party invitations. Obviously this has to go along with your football theme. You can easily print some football invitations from your computer. Football party invitations are best done as flyers. You can have your child assist with the creating of the football invitations. Once the invitations are complete you can move on to party decorations. To start with, you can make football cut outs to hang around the room. Making them yourself is a lot more fun and you can save money. All you need is some construction paper, markers, and some string. You can have your child work on this project while you work on the rest of the decorations.
Football T-shirts also make great decorations. Since most have their favorite teams, you are bound to have one or two football jerseys lying around. I like to look at discount stores for kids size football jerseys. If you shop at a thrift store you will be able to find a handful of used football t-shirts in kids sizes. You can then hang these around the room using thumb tacks. It is a good idea to hang t-shirts of different teams since everyone has their likes and dislikes. You don't want to have a one sided football party for kids. This may cause problems in the long run. A few streamers can be hung in between the jersey's to make it more festive looking.
Next on the list is food. For a kids football party you will basically need a lot of snacks and some sandwich platters. You can also add to that some hot dog platters. It's really not a football game without the extra long beef hot dogs. You can create fun little platters that have the hotdogs and buns on them. On a counter or table you can set up the condiments so that everyone can serve themselves. If you have carpeted rooms, you may want to put everything in the kitchen so that you can avoid huge stains. With kids I like to cover up my living room floor with an old carpet. You can either purchase a very cheap carpet or runner to lay down to avoid the huge messes that kids tend to make. For snacks you can have your basic chips and pretzels. Remember that a kids party can be a lot of fun. With a kids football party you don't really need to plan any activities just turn on a football game and your done.
